One Week at a Time Challenge!

LET THE HEALING BEGIN!!!!!!.....

Ok Big Tough Girls,

BIB has decided to challenge all of you. We get so many emails from so many incredible women expressing their pain, their desires, hopes and dreams…everything that they want for themselves, everything they hope for…but every email ends the same way…I DON’T KNOW HOW TO GET THERE!

We can be big and tough and talk ALL DAY LONG about the things that we wish we could do or want to do but actually taking responsibility and PUTTING THOSE things into action is a TOTALLY different story! How committed are you?? How much do you really want to change?? How bad do you want to be a BIG TOUGH GIRL?? No one can make you do something, YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE that can take action in YOUR OWN ife….we all say that THIS IS THE YEAR!!! Is it really? I guess we will find out!!

We are going to challenge you EVERY MONDAY for 2011 to commit to ONE thing that you need to work on..We all know that when the new year rolls around that we bite off WAY more than we can chew…that our desires are bigger than our reality…so we are going to take one things at a time…and you may decide that this one thing is the SAME goal for several weeks in a row and that is OK!!

Come support each other…take on other people’s challenges, encourage and share, motivate and inspire. Isn’t that why we are here…to not only get inspiration but to inspire someone else? I am promising to you that I will be here every week…I hope that you will join me…This is on you, your honor system….you are only hurting yourself if you don’t dig deep…find the BRAVE GIRL in you and take ACTION!!!!!

So, challenges?? What can you challenge yourself to do? There are a million things…

If you LOVE your bed a little to much…commit to getting out of bed by a certain time every day and MAKING YOUR BED..make it harder to get back in…pile your clean laundry that needs to be folded on top of your made bed…that will knock two things off the list…Commit to stay out of the bedroom all day.

If watching TV acts as a security blanket limit your television time, only watch in the front room, only allow your favorite show and that’s it for the day.

If you have a bad habit of eating out commit to have dinner on the table every night…something you prepared.

Go on a date with you kids or your spouse to spend some one on one time. Take your mom out to lunch..Reconnect with a family member that you have pushed away or a friend. Send one letter in the mail to someone that you have anger towards or bad feelings about…APOLOGIZE, accept an apology…let GO OF THE ANGER

This is all about releasing…and all these little things weigh us down and make us feel bad about ourselves because we aren’t doing them or we are neglecting them or putting them off!!

Exercise so many days in a week, cut your calories…limit your soda/chocolate allowance for the week

Go to church, commit to saying your prayers every night, study your scriptures…

I don’t CARE what it is!! JUST PICK SOMETHING AND START WORKING ON IT….NO EXCUSES!! There is no reason that we can’t get up, get dressed and make our bed….

Write in your journal every day, scrapbook during the week (not including Soul Restoration Class)

There are so many things that I could go on and on……

Please remember that we are HUMAN and you may have a bad week where you didn’t work on your challenge once..or only made it 3 days….IT IS OK!!! You have to start somewhere…DO NOT think that because you had a bad week you are a FAILURE!!! You have to come back on Monday, refocus and regroup and TRY AGAIN!!!! This life is nothing but trying again, not succeeding, and trying again!! DO NOT let yourself quit because you had a bad week!!!!!!!

I want you all here every Monday with a report…and a new challenge…might be the same one, maybe your ready to take on something else…but how can you do this and FEEL BAD ABOUT YOURSELF??? I think that the sense of accomplishment and the weight that will lift from your soul will bring you to your knees!!!

We are human…we can only bite off so much…lets take it one week at a time! You have support..you have friends! Come and participate….if you think about it…if you focus on one new thing a week you are only looking at 51 things to focus on!!!

Is this going to be your year?? Is this the year that you really take your life back?? We shall see!! You may not be exactly where you want to be at the end of 2011 but I can promise you, you will be a heck of a lot farther along if you do TAKE ACTION instead of spending another year talking about it!!!
